Singular Group and Open Society - Georgia Foundation are proud to announce the very first conference about Internet Television in Georgia, which will be held in Hotel Old Tbilisi on 16th and 29th of April, 2010.
The conference aims to bring awareness and knowledge about internet television for media-people, bloggers, vloggers, designers and developers in Georgia. Special guest speakers from Georgia, Singapore, and UK will discuss all aspects of internet television. Get to know to our Speakers!The first conference day will cover general overview of the topic and discussions about social side of internet media broadcasting; while the second day will explain what internet TV is in more details, according to both technical and journalistic aspects. You can ask your own questions in advance regarding any presentation topic via our question submission form and if relevant, your question will be answered during the presentations by the speakers.
Each conference day starts at 11:30am and finishes at 6:00pm. A coffee break, lunch and drinks reception are foreseen throughout the day. Don’t miss anything, check out the complete schedule!
The target audience for the first conference day:
• Journalists
• Social Media Specialists, Bloggers and Vloggers.
• Potential video-content creators, like media schools and journalism faculty students.
The target audience for the second conference day:
• The specialists with technical education and working experience, like system developers, web-developers, network architects, web-designers, online advertising campaign coordinators, etc.
• The representatives of media and existing online-broadcasters, who need training for better management of their activities.
In order to attend the conference you should complete the registration form and if you successfully go through the selection process, you will be notified by email regarding your attendance status.
First conference day will be limited to 50 attendees, while another day - to 30 seats only. Selection process from the pool of applicants will be conducted based on individuals' background and experience.
The registration deadlines are: 11th and 18th of April respectively.
Those who are not selected as attendees will still be able to watch the live video during the presentation hours on our website homepage directly streamed from the conference hall.
All photos, videos and electronic materials will be published on the website after the conference.
